So a while back I had a major comcast issue and I had trouble getting my service fixed. No phones, no internet and bad cable reception for 4 days with promises of a repair man showing up “tomorrow.” My service was finally resolved and I am very happy with it, the HD is clearer then ever, internet is fast and phones are clear. At first I wasn’t happy, I mean I couldn’t get any service from Comcast. Well I got on my twitter account while waiting for my AC repairman to show up (it was a bad week!) and tweeted “comcast down day 4.” It wasn’t but a few hours later a comcast rep responded back to my tweet asking if I needed help. I told her the issue had been resolved because the comcast guy showed up shortly after I postedthe initial message. She apologized and looked up my account and told me she credited my account for the inconvenience. I had no idea what the credit was until I looked this morning to pay my monthly bill and saw that I had no bill! Yep, comcast actually credited me an entire month for the 4 days I was down and poor service I initially received. I am very happy and this goes way above my expectations. I had expected a few dollars credit, but not the full amount of my cable, phone and internet for a month. Fantastic service and I appreciate Comcast stepping up in such a large way. I used to have very negative thoughts of Comcast years ago after some issues, and recently service was good until this experience. And now with the large credit they gave me they are showing they do care about customer service. Way to go comcast!
See people, you sometimes make fun of me for my posts, tweets and blogs. But sometimes you get the attention of the right person and they take care of you.
